What Is Paint Correction?
Paint Correction refers to the process of removing paint defects in a vehicle's finish and restoring it to a better than new state. The most common paint defects are oxidation, swirls and scratches, Random Isolated Deep Scratches (RIDS), and UV damage caused by the sun.
Paint defects are usually caused by improper washing and detailing methods, incorrect use of machine buffers, automatic car washes, and neglected contamination such as sap, bird droppings, and bug splatter. By compounding and polishing the paint, we're able to remove defects permanently and create a high-gloss finish.
The Art of Paint Correction
"Polishing paint is a form of art. To achieve a flawless finish, you need to know a lot more than what the directions on the label of a can of wax can tell you. You need to combine knowledge and expertise as well as the right products and tools with the human factors of care and passion.
You need to genuinely care about what you're doing and have a passion for the craft. When all these things come together, polishing paint becomes an art form as you truly create a work of art."

The Detailing Pros offers a wide variety of paint correction and defect removal services. From minor swirls and scratches to a complete vehicle paint restoration, we can take care of everything.
Removing everything from fine scratches to heavy paint damage is an art and should only be performed by a highly trained professional paint correction specialist. There are all types of painted surfaces with all kinds of variables that need to be considered before starting any paint defect removal.
We use a custom-built ceiling mounted and high-powered LED lighting rack with 98000 lumens and hand-held lighting tools with a high Color Rendering Index (CRI) to identify the paint defects.
We use high-end paint gauges to determine the condition and thickness of the paintwork. Our technicians use a variety of microscopes and magnifying glasses to check what the paint looks like visually. We do all of this before we even start the paint correction process.
Don't let just anyone start working on your car's paint. It could end up costing you a lot more than you expected. We'll treat your car like the investment it truly is, and with the same care and respect we would show our vehicle.
