What Are Ceramic Coatings?
Ceramic coatings are a permanent and protective nanoceramic transparent coating. This type of 3D matrix structure protects the paint or the surfaces it's applied to from scratches, graffiti, etching, aging, premature oxidation, weathering, road salt, bugs, bird droppings, brake dust, and even acid rain. They're chemical and corrosion resistant, and protect the surface against extremely high temperatures.
They provide a superior and permanent protection for all automotive factory paints, aftermarket paints, matte finish paints, and many other automotive surfaces. Headlights and taillights, glass, black plastic bumpers and trim, wheels and painted calipers, suspension components, custom fabricated and painted engine components, chrome, stainless steel, aluminum, paint protection film, vehicle wraps with satin and glossy finish, exhaust pipes, and more, can all be coated.
A surface treated with a ceramic coating stays clean for an extended period. It's easier to clean with a deep gloss and high shine because of its smoothness and hydrophobic properties.
A ceramic coating is not a wax or standard paint sealant offered by many detailers, car washes, and auto dealerships. It's a permanent and sacrificial barrier that forms a lasting bond with the clear coat. It'll not wear off, wash off, or delaminate. It can only be removed with abrasives such as wet sand and compound.
A single layer is approximately 2 microns in thickness, which is about 100 times thicker than any other paint protective product. This thickness is what absorbs the impacts and damage that would otherwise affect the factory painted surface underneath.

Nanotechnology means working, engineering, manufacturing, and manipulating matter on an atomic, molecular, and supramolecular scale. This means working with particles sized between 1 and 100 nanometers (down to 1/100,000 the width of a human hair).
By building a substance with this type of technology from the atom up, specific characteristics such as hardness, transparency, smoothness, and heat resistance can be obtained and significantly increased for many kinds of surfaces.
